October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Whether you are male or female, we all have women in our lives that we love. As we enter October, take the time to think about these special women and try to find a way to make a difference to help find a cure for this disease that hits 1 in 8 women in the USA annually. In 2021, an estimated 281,550 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the USA, along with another 49,290 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer. Whether you donate directly to one of the charities, help support a local event, or participate in local fundraising events, every little bit helps get us one step closer to a cure. This is by no means a comprehensive list of organizations, but it's a start. Do a search for local branches and local events in your area, many cities will have some sort of awareness walks and other events scheduled throughout the month.

As this is our first year, we have nothing formal in place, but we will be offering discounts on pink products throughout the month of October in the hope that what you do save can go to one of your local charities, or help you participate in one of your local events, and hopefully, together, we find a way to eradicate this deadly disease in the next decade!
